Good evening.
Here, in the RHLC (Red Hat Learning Community), when we start a new discussion topic, in one of the boards / forums, we ("common" users / members) get an expanded / full message formating toolbar with many buttons / icons, above the message editor, so we can format our message.
- Screenshot for when we start a new discussion in a forum / board (we get the full toolbar):
If we click on that elipsis (three dots) icon in that toolbar (the icon that appears right under the "PREVIEW" link), we then get even MORE buttons / icons, as I show in the following screenshot:
HOWEVER, when we reply to an existing discussion instead, we then get a more minimal toolbar that only has the buttons / icons for Bold, Italic, Underline, Create Hyperlink, Insert Image and Insert Bulleted List), as I show in the following screenshot:
Could the RHLC Administrators please change the RHLC configurations, so that we also get the full formatting toolbar in message replies?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your post @ric . like I have done in your another similar post - let me tag @TudorRaduta @Deanna if they can provide any info on the same or if they can help in this scenario.
Obviously, being also impacted by no access to this feature, I totally support this "request for evolution".
Thnak you for raising this. This issue was reported a few weeks ago. For some reason, certain boards are using a different template for replies, which is why the formatting toolbar looks limited compared to when you start a new discussion. The vendor has already identified a solution, and it’s pending implementation by our team. @Deanna our product manager might be able to share the next update.
