About me:

I'm just a computer nerd who happens to have the luck and the time to begin working on a degree in security, hopefully with a focus in Red Hat ansibile for pen testing.

Career Stories:

Unfortunately, I have no official experience in the field, but I do have experience in production with a little bit of leadership experience.

Red Hat courses:

Actually, the first Red Hat course I'm taking is NOS 120 which is the one I am in at the time of writing this.

Interesting?:

I'm a fairly open book, and if anyone has questions I will likely do my best to answer them.

I played soccer for 8 years.

I am a very avid gamer, and I would like to plug for Summer Games Done Quick, a charity event that is currently going on right now that raises money for Doctors Without Borders.

Hello! My name is Timothy Packer and I'm currently an IT student in my first year of studies working towards a  assosiciates network administration degree. I plan on transferring to East Carolina University after that for a higher level IT degree. I spent 4 years in the Army as a medic and decided health care just wasn't for me. I would like to develop the skills that would allow me to work for the goverment so I can use my 4 years in the military towards my reitrement. NOS120 will be my first red hat course so I'm excited to see where things will go from here.

Hello!  I am Leslie Shaw, a student at Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) in North Carolina.  I am currently a school counselor in the midst of changing career fields, so it has definitely been a whirlwind!  I am in my second year of courses in the Systems Security and Analysis program, and it feels like each class is a new beginning (in a good way!).  I want to be able to work on a team that oversees networks and resolves issues within them.  Ironically we had issues with Internet connectivity for students and staff on the first day of school, so these are the types of issues that I would want to fix.  I believe there is so much possibility within IT that nearly all of it piques my interest.  I am a lifelong learner and I hope to gain a lot in this community.
