Tech Support and Course Recommendation

Greetings RedHat community,

I ended up on this site a few months ago when I decided to take a Linux fundamentals class over the summer at a local community college. Well I didn't do very well in the course since I didn't expect it would be so challenging since it was an intro course. I definitely was misguided since the course required us to download vmware workstation fusion along with RedHat enterprise Linux. That alone should have scared me off. Anyway, my point to this post, although I think the ability to pentest is amazing, I'm more interested to learn network and system hardening. Would anyone on here have recommendations on which programs or courses on here would be suitable? I have some training in CCNA, Microsoft Server/Exchange, CompTIA A+, Sec+, Net+, VSX & Vsphere, but very rusty since I been back in school for Public Health. Thanks in advance for any recommendations, and hopefully I can get beyond the chat bots to resolve the active courses since the class ended already.

@SilentRush87 Totally normal to feel overwhelming when resuming a new technical learning. Since you asked about Linux and hardening - my recommedation would be to start from basic linux admin course in the Red Hat Online Learning Portal which is :

1. RH124   &    2. RH134

Then you go for a certification exam RHCSA

Then regarding the server hardening thing you can go for specialist courses like

1. RH415    or   2. RH442
