I began my career in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician and nuclear reactor operator. After the Navy I transferred my skills to the IT industry. I have worked as a tutor, a help desk technician, a sysadmin, a systems engineer, and am currently a DevOps engineer for CastleBranch, Inc, in Wilmington, North Carolina. I work on a (very) small team maintaining virtual IT infrastructure and code to support CastleBranch developers. Outside of work I am active in my community. I volunteer technical work for non-profit organizations.
