Hi there,

I hope you’re doing well! I’m preparing for the RHCSA exam and came across some information that a discount code from the exam can be used up to three times within three months. I was wondering if you might have an unused code that you’d be willing to share? It would really help me out a lot!

I understand if it's not possible, but thought I’d ask just in case. Thank you so much for your time!

@JayramDhawalYes, once your ID is approved, you can schedule your exam at any time. There’s no need to re-upload your ID for subsequent exams.

@Sat11 now the certs will be added and displayed on credly site.

Refer : https://www.redhat.com/en/about/digital-credential-program

https://www.credly.com/organizations/red-hat-inc/collections/red-hat-professional-certification-digi...

I guess your older certs have expired so they cannot be visible in credly, however you can check the same here : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/verify

@Tenzin108 as far as I know this is not allowed.

However, please note that "Exam support link" ( https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments ) is the official channel for raising support case and taking guidance/ help for anything related to exam. All other comments and suggestions are not official.

Please raise a query with the exam support for the same.

Thank for sharing the guidelines.

I would like to clarify that I have been uploading a clear and clean PDF scan of my government-issued ID, ensuring both sides are included, as instructed. However, despite my efforts, the verification process has been extremely slow taking an entire day for each response and continues to result in rejection without specific clarity on what exactly is being flagged.

Additionally, I'm confused by the repeated mention of “photocopy” or “digital copy” rejections. Since the only way to upload an ID is by taking a photo or scanning it into a digital format, I’m unsure what is expected to meet the criteria. If the system requires more secure or real-time validation, perhaps a live video verification process would be a more effective approach.

I’ve been following the instructions carefully, yet the process has become frustrating and is now impacting my exam schedule. I respectfully request a clear explanation of what specific issue remains with the document I uploaded, and guidance on how to successfully complete the verification.

Your support on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Vijay,

Thank you for reaching out and for your patience throughout the ID verification process. ID Verification approval process take 2-4  business working days. I do understand that sometime the approval take some time, when not uploaded in the right format.

We do not accept any laminated ID, digital copy or any photo copy or downloaded copy of any ID uploaded.  A direct, high-quality photo of the physical ID—taken in good lighting, with no glare, blur, or obstruction—is the ideal format.

To assist you further and move forward with approval.,I’d recommend the following:

  1. Capture the ID using a phone camera, not a scanner, and ensure both front and back sides are clearly visible.
  2. Place the ID on a plain background (like a dark table), avoid shadows or reflections, and ensure all corners are visible.
  3. Do not crop or edit the photo—upload it exactly as taken no trimming or blurring the ID

I would request you to kindly re-upload both sides of the ID again as single file, we will take a look into it.  Thank you again for your understanding, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Dear Red Hat Support Team,

I’m reaching out to express my concern regarding the ongoing issues with
the ID verification process. I’ve been using this PAN card for over four
years without any problems, and while the hologram may have slightly faded
with time, the document remains valid and clearly legible.

To ensure quality, I even used Microsoft Lens to capture the ID in high
resolution, selected the appropriate ID format, and saved it as a PDF
before uploading. Despite these efforts, the document continues to be
rejected—this time citing the faded hologram as the issue.

The lack of a real-time support option to resolve such issues is making
this process unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating. Every rejection
leads to long delays, and I must wait for email responses, which is now
impacting my planned exam schedule.

I kindly request your guidance on how to proceed effectively. Is there an
alternate form of verification such as live video ID validation that could
expedite this process?

Thank you for your attention and support

Regards

Vijay
