Passed Ex280

Jump to solution

Hello all,

I am glad to share with the community that today I cleared the EX280 - Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator Exam ( Version 4.12 )

After failing my first attempt, I spent more time covering the topics that I missed earlier and did all the guided exercises available in the handbook. I would like to share a few points which helped me to pass the exam.

Hope this will help someone who is preparing for the exam. Best of luck!

Thanks.

Hi @Sri_Krishna

The exam duration is 3 Hours. It is a practical exam, you have to solve problems as we do in real-time. For example, you may be asked to create an OpenShift resource in the cluster.

During the exam, we have access to Offline Documentation. But, it's very vast and it takes too much time to search for a particular topic. So, I would suggest going through the sections of the documentation before the example. For example, if you get a question related to a Networking component in the exam, you should be able to directly navigate to that section to save your time.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks!

I got 196 out od 300 in my first attempt. Now retake scheduled on 15-May-2024. Just ine question i request clarifications.

In exam, I was not able fetch NFS Server IP and NFS export path. I tried below commands

$ oc get sc

$ oc get sc -o yaml

$ oc get pods -A | grep -i nfs

$ oc describe sc

I was just getting storage class name, provisioner but not NFS server IP, path. Please suggest what is best way to get these details so that I can create PV, PVC properly.

Hi @SurendraK ,

If you can't find those detail using the above commands, NFS server details might be present in the Instructions page where all information about the workstattion is present.

Wishing you good luck!
