OpenShift Service Mesh Distributed Tracing using Tempo

Jump to solution

Does Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh support integration with Grafana Tempo instead of Jaeger for distributed tracing?
The documentation seems to suggest it is not possible:
https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.13/service_mesh/v2x/ossm-reference-jaeger.html
However, the Red Hat OpenShift Distributed Tracing Platform documentation clearly states that Jaeger is deprecated, and it is recommended to use Grafana Tempo.

Hi Ricardo, thanks for your reply. Can you point me to some documentation or guidance on how to use Tempo with Service Mesh? I can't seem to find anything online.
