Hi everyone,
Is there anyone that passed the EX288 recently? I just failed my attempt including the retake, incredible.
Besides the fact of working with containers for 3 hours, I still get 0% on the topic "working with containers" LMFAO.
I understand I need to do this test in alignment with what Red Hat expects, but solving the mysteries of what is written in the questions is beyond the scope.
I am not encouraging any developer from my team to do this exam until we fine-tune these exam scores and balance.
Please share with me something..... =]
Hello everyone,
I would like to say that I finally managed to clear the exam, however, still had problems closing it with the top score.
What I can tell you all is that - read the question carefully, I was caught in a trap due to misinterpretation and my assumptions.
During my third attempt, in an inspirational morning, I understood what they wanted.
Good luck to all of you, all the best.
Hey there,
I completely understand your frustration! I recently took the EX288V412 , and it turned out to be by far the biggest exam disappointment for me. Despite thorough preparation, I found a significant disconnect between the topics covered in the training and the actual exam requirements. This misalignment made it exceptionally challenging to navigate the questions effectively.
It's disheartening to see that the exam doesn't seem to align with the emphasis on container-related topics from the training. The discrepancies in content make it difficult to accurately interpret the questions.
Considering my experience, I share your sentiment and wouldn't recommend the exam in its current state. Hopefully, Red Hat addresses these issues and brings about improvements for future candidates.
... a few days later i took the EX288V410 as retake and passed without problems ...
I have written some more detailed complain to Red Hat about the V412 Exam, got the answer:
"Thank you very much for your opinions, this helps us improve our exams, I proceeded to pass the ticket to the development group who manage the roadmap of changes"
I just went for it today and this is my third time as well and I'm extremely disappointed. as shared here, this exam is a torture for anyone who tries it. Although I did DO288 labs and exercises many times, it didn't help at all and after three tries I'm only getting half the passing score. After checking the comments, I feel a bit relieved because I started questionning my abilities. This exam is not be recommended at all and I regret not reading those comments before going three time through the same hell

Congrats on clearing the D)180 exam Murillo! I am going to make my first attempt and have two questions: The certification offers only two attempts to pass the exam, what happens if one does not pass it in two attempts, does one have to re-pay for two more attempts? Also, is there a time-frame that one must wait to take it again? Again, congrats and thanks!!
@theaney After the 2nd ( free ) attempt - if you dont pass then for all subsequent exams you will have to purchase it separately.
No there is no time frame to wait for any subsequent attempts.
