Hi Folks..so I've seen the flow chart below where it says you must have the System Administrator Certification in order to start the System Admin for Openstack Certification. (EX210)
Prerequisites for this exam Be a Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer, or demonstrate comparable work experience and skills Attend Red Hat OpenStack Administration I (CL110) and Red Hat OpenStack Administration II: Day 2 Operations for Cloud Operators (CL210) courses, or demonstrate comparable work experience using Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenStack Platform Review the objectives for this exam
However on the redhat site itself it says you can either have the System Admin OR demonstrate comparable work experience and skills.. So is this true? I've been working at Nokia for 5 years now, working with RHEL and other prior certs. How would you go about attempting to use this to be able to begin studying for the Certifiied System Admin for Openstack? (Ex210)
Thanks mate!
Dear friend,
I don't think it is mandatory. It's just a suggestion only.If you think you can do it,why not try?.if you have any problems please contact redhat support team through below link.

They will solve your doubts.good luck.
Thanks for the reply.. So yea I have no problem going to study for the RHAOS directly, but I think my question is more so, is that do I have to apply or do anything special because I do not have the System Administrator cert? If I click buy on that voucher for the EX210, will I be able to just schedule and take the test then? Or will I be required to prove my work experience?
Dear friend ,
No. You can buy the exam do it in your home (now redhat support for remote exam)get your result less than 15 min.Wolof.......your certified......but remember exam is not easy unless you have confidence. That’s why they recommend people have experience .I got my rhce without having single industrial experience. But I have done ton of self studies and failed twice. So you got the point.cheers
Thanks mate!
