Red Hat Training would like to invite you to a live feedback session for our upcoming offering: Cloud Storage With Red Hat Ceph Storage (CL260). As a valued member of the Red Hat Learning Community, our curriculum developers want to hear from you. Your feedback will directly impact changes or updates to this in-development course.

To participate, please complete the available content for CL260 in your Red Hat Learning Subscription Early Access catalog before the feedback session, January 22nd at 10am EST. Our developers will be looking for your feedback on the following topics as they relate to your experience with the CL260 Early Access material: 

• Do the exercises fit a real world use case you’re trying to solve? 
• Were the instructions clear enough for you to follow?
• Does the ordering of material work for you?
• Did you learn anything new or valuable?

My subscription ends in July. Is there any chance that this exam will be ready remotely before this date?  I would much prefer studying the latest version of ceph.

Let's make an additional distinction about the two Ceph trainings.

Yes, the CL260 is primarily built from and upgraded from the Ceph125 course material. But realistically, CL260 does not replace CEPH125.  Red Hat Storage is a product with significant ongoing customer presence in both Ceph 3 and Ceph 4.

The CEPH125 course is still the course of choice for some Ceph 3 customers.  It is accurate and relevant for Ceph 3 training.  More specifically, customers still using ceph-disk and FileStore need this CEPH125 course and EX125 exam.

Ceph 4 customers, on the other hand, use only ceph-volume and BlueStore.  Ceph 3 and Ceph 4 customers already using these technologies, who have migrated their OSDs, are on Ceph 4, or moving to Ceph 4 soon, will want the CL260 course and EX260 exam.

In summary:
CEPH125 to learn ceph-disk and FileStore, which is only relevant for a subset of Ceph 3 customers.
CL260 for any Ceph 3 or 4 customers to learn ceph-volume, BlueStore, and Ceph 4 new features.

The course will release this week, and the exam will follow.  The Cert team will announce the exam when they are ready.

Slight delay.  Cleaning up some things and finishing QA passes.  Release pushed back two weeks, and will still be out before the end of April.  Better to get it right than to push it too early.
