Hi everyone,
have a question regarding the Red Hat certification exams.
Is it possible to take the EX280 exam based on v4.10, then take the Preliminary Exam in Red Hat OpenShift Administration (PE180K) based on v4.12, and follow it with the EX280 exam based on v4.12 or v4.14 (Red Hat OpenShift Administration II: Configuring a Production Cluster)?
In other words, can I take two different versions of the EX280 exam? Additionally, does Red Hat allow taking different versions of the same exam?
Thanks in advance for your help!
@msouilhi
Yes, you can take different versions of the EX280 exam, such as the EX280 based on v4.10, and later the same exam based on v4.12 or v4.14. Red Hat allows candidates to take different versions of the same exam to stay updated with the latest features and best practices.
You can sequence your exams as you described: take the EX280 based on v4.10, then the PE180K based on v4.12, and later the EX280 again based on v4.12 or v4.14.
Note: Red Hat certifications generally have a validity period of three years. It's important to be aware of the version on which you are certified, especially if newer versions introduce significant changes.
Example: If you complete the EX280 exam on v4.10 and then plan to take it on v4.12, your certification validity will extend for another three years from the date of the v4.12 exam.
Date: | Jun 09, 2024 |
Current Until: | Red Hat certifications are generally valid for three years. This validity extends from the date of your next version exam for another three years. |
