DO378 - Lab start command taking a very long time

I am currently trying to perform a lab exercise for DO378 (Chapter 6, Section 2).

The command is lab start deploy-openshift. This command creates a new namespace in RHOCP, creates a ConfigMap in the namespace, and ensures that the exercise files are available on my workstation. It took 7 minutes before it failed and the error was related to verifying the cluster state. It stated that authentication timed out after 7 mins.

I have deleted and created the lab again and have been running into this issue. As a result, I am unable to progress with my lab exercise as part of this course.

Has anyone experienced this issue before and if so, how did you resolve it or were you able to resolve it.

@Sarmag123 verifying cluster state means the OCP cluster is not yet ready for you to do the lab exercises. Once your lab is up and active - I suggest you should wait for atleast 20 -25 minutes to let the OCP cluster be up and ready. You can then start with lab steps.

Refer this post about it : https://learn.redhat.com/t5/Containers-DevOps-OpenShift/OCP-Cluster-takes-time-to-get-ready-in-OpenS...
