Hi Redhaters,
I hope everyone doing well and safe.
During my learning this week I was doing some lab on OCP4.5 course, I came across the message below;
You have reached your pull rate limit. You may increase the limit by authenticating and upgrading: https://www.docker.com/increase-rate-limits.
A quick search it seems the docker team announced a limitation for docker pull if you are using unauthenticated users. Hopes RedHat learning team uses another example other than WordPress or uses an image with the RedHat registry.
Does anyone face this issue?
Hi Emad,
Yes, I face the same issue with the same course. :(
Hi!
Could you share which course (or courses) is that?
Cheers,
Álex
Hi, the same here.
Filed case RHT1322728 for this, this is really annoying since many labs/excercises seem to be relying on pulling images from docker.io..
I have reported this to my colleagues working on this set of courses. They were already working on replacing Docker Hub images with quay.io images. They were using various patterns to detect Docker Hub images, but they didn't detect network-sdn. That's now on their list and they added that "pattern" to their process to detect Docker Hub images (which turned out no other results).
If you notice further issues with Docker Hub images, please report them including the course and the name of the exercise.
Thanks,
Álex
