For one of the deployment, we have decided to go with the Prometheus pre configured alerts defined per the documentation - https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/3.11/install_config/prometheus_cluster_monitoring.html. In the table I see some alerts being configured for ETCD (around 9), however when I looked back into the PrometheusRule file which is configured in the system, these alerts are found missing.
Should I define a custom rules now to configure these additional alerts??
