OpenShift Container Platform

Jump to solution

Hello guys!

Does somebody know if OpenShift v4 Administration I (DO280) and OpenShift v4 Administration II (DO380) are already available on RHLS?

Last month I was not able to get suscribed into those courses. Any news about them or when is it going to be released?

Thanks!

Hey, @jrios,

Thanks for your interest in the topic!

Currently, DO280 is still under development, mostly due to the ongoing changes prior to OCP 4.2 release, which is most probably going to be the version that the new course is based on. It is a fairly radical set of changes that the various OCP 4 installers bring to the table, so large chunks of the course will have to be rewritten and redesigned.

That, and the fact OCP 4.2 is still due for release, are the main reasons we don't have the course out yet. We want it to be the best it can and reflect all the features that went into the product at GA time.

There is no short-term plan to update DO380 just now, as it is a question of how relevant the current content will still be after all the changes that went into OCP 4, but perhaps there may be a course or two released in the near future that will supplement DO280v4 in a similar way as DO380v3 was supplementing DO280v3.

Cheers,
Grega
