OpenShift

Jump to solution

Hello Red Hats,

I was reading an article about OpenShift.  In one sentence, OpenShift and Platform as a Service was mentioned.  While the sentence did not explicitly state that OpenShift was a Platform as a Service offering, it seem to suggest that to me.  My question:  Can OpenShift be considered a Platform as a Service offering?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Trevor.

Red Hat does not refer to OpenShift as a PaaS. Instead, we use the term "container application platform".

I hope this helps.

Regards,

David
