We can use the GUI to create and install as Operator such as "File Integrity Operator" and it is pretty simple. 

If the ask was to  install the "File Integrity Operator" but use a custom OperatorGroup with the name of "file-integrity-operator" within the namespace of "openshift-file-integrity", can that be done in the GUI? Or would I have to create the YAML file?

Hello @Richard4 !

When I checked in the OpenShift console , it did not give me any option to customize the Operator group while installing the File Integrity Operator : 

So, I guess you will have to create the YAML file and apply it to the cluster.
