MAINTENANCE RELEASE: Red Hat DevOps Pipelines and Processes (DO400)

This course is primarily a “Bring Your Developer Workstation” (BYDW) course, and this update focuses on enhancing the experience for Windows users. We have added PowerShell command alternatives and Windows-specific guidance when needed.

Additionally, we have made the following changes:

  • Enhanced UI navigation steps with additional screenshots.
  • Reduced the length of Chapter 4: Building Applications with Test-driven Development by replacing section 4.4 with a quiz and removing the Sonarqube steps and discussion from sections 4.5 and 4.6.
  • DeploymentConfigs have been updated to Deployment resources.
  • Updated the security exercises in Chapter 7: Implementing Pipeline Security and Monitoring Performance to be more stable and deterministic.
  • Several other minor corrections and enhancements.

Many thanks to Pablo Solar Vilariño and Jaime Ramirez Castillo for developing the course update. Thanks to Sam Ffrench for technical editing. Thanks to Richard Allred for classroom and deployment support.

Additional thanks to Ricardo Taniguchi, Sreejith Anujan, Fusayuki Minamoto, and the delivery team for detailed course feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve the curriculum!
