Containers, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift Development II (DO295) v4.6 is the accelerated container adoption training for developer students interested in pursuing the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Development certification. This course combines the hands-on skills covered in Red Hat OpenShift I: Containers & Kubernetes (DO180) and Red Hat OpenShift Development II: Containerizing Applications (DO288) into a single five day course.

This course teaches students essential cloud-native development skills: how to design, build, and deploy containerized software applications to Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters. Whether you are tasked with writing cloud-native applications or migrating existing brownfield applications, this course provides hands-on training to boost developer productivity powered by Red Hat OpenShift.

In addition to updating the material to the Extend Update Support version 4.6 of OpenShift Container Platform, this release includes several enhancements. We have removed legacy content on templates, fabric8, and Jenkins. In its place we have introduced new material covering topics such as Helm Charts, Kustomize, and Eclipse JKube.

Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) accelerate the development and delivery of cloud-native business applications and value. Red Hat Training’s OpenShift 4.x course series is a key pillar of Red Hat’s Container Adoption Journey, a holistic program that takes enterprise teams new to Kubernetes and OCP from a Prepare to Optimize stage of Kubernetes and OCP operation and cloud native development.
