Hi, I didn't pass EX188 for a time issue.
I could not complete all the tasks in time, any other had this problem?
Ok if it is not possible to have more time to finish it, I will practice more to run faster next time.
Another think I don't find clear and hepful for the student is that after the exam it is not provided the score for each single task, but only a global final score (pass or not).
Without that information the student cannot understand and check if he did fine or not each single task.
What's your opinion about it?
Thanks in advance
@AlessandraS I feel for you, it is really heartbreaking when one could not pass an exam which has taken a toil on time, effort and your wallet.
However, thousands of candidates take RH exams which are strict and it is an extremly difficult job to maintain the sancitity and integrity of exam with the secrecy around its exam tasks or questions.I am sure you get that.
When you say :- "Another think I don't find clear and hepful for the student is that after the exam it is not provided the score for each single task, but only a global final score (pass or not)." - I am not sure it can be done without divulging specific exam tasks rather, say, specific exam questions. Hence, in the result you get scores against common objective groupings based on the exam objectives publically available.
If you want to provide feedback or have specific questions to ask related to exam, best way is to reach out to exam support team here : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments

I took the ex188 recently and passed. While it's not hard exam I can absolutely understand how one can get brain freeze and burn time trying to find out what's wrong on a single task.
This was the only exam where I was disconnected while I was writting something still in shell (I actually found the issue, was able to fix it but didn't have time to verify the fix as part of the task).
Hi @martindxc
That’s a great point. Even well-prepared candidates can hit that “time sink” moment when one tricky task eats more minutes than expected. The disconnect you experienced mid-task definitely adds extra pressure but still you managed to fix it - kudos! That's why RH exams test your resolve to perform under pressure !
