Configure, manage, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters and containerized applications
Red Hat OpenShift Administration II: Operating a Production Kubernetes Cluster (DO280) prepares OpenShift Cluster Administrators to perform daily administration tasks on clusters that host applications provided by internal teams and external vendors, enable self-service for cluster users with different roles, and deploy applications that require special permissions such as such as CI/CD tooling, performance monitoring, and security scanners. This course focuses on configuring multi-tenancy and security features of OpenShift as well as managing OpenShift add-ons based on operators.
The skills you learn in this course can be applied using all versions of OpenShift, including Red Hat OpenShift on AWS (ROSA), Azure Red Hat OpenShift, and OpenShift Container Platform.
This course is based on OpenShift Container Platform 4.12.
Having a problem with the network-review lab and I'm not sure where else to post this other than possibly opening a support ticket.
After going through the lab twice I get hung up at the same spot, step 6.2. And when I say hung, I mean I can initiate a connection but it just hangs there. I've checked the yaml files against the provided solutions to ensure they're typo for typo compatible. Finally tracked down what may be the problem to the "product" pod giving the following error:
Warning Unhealthy 11m (x2 over 11m) kubelet Readiness probe failed: Get "https://10.8.0.71:8080/readyz": dial tcp 10.8.0.71:8080 connect: connection refused
I've double checked that by restarting the lab and the pod comes up that way, so I'm pretty sure it's nothing I did. Since the success or failure of the student in the lab depends on that working, it's a bit of a stumbling block.
The version number of the course is Revision: do280-4.12-fe9e5fe, if that helps any.
