jsonpath documentation

Hello all- 
Has anyone been able to find detailed information about using the '-o jsonpath' option in the OpenShift documentation, OpenShift console, or from the command line? Some of the syntax for using jsonpath is tricky - it would be great to have a good resource for '-o jsonpath' while taking the exam.

I dont think OpenShift documentation will contain detailed information about jsonpath syntax and also I doubt any documentation will be provided for the same during exam ( for jsonpath specifically ). I think one may refer some documentation separately for learning it and then apply it wherever applicable.
