VSCode mandatory in exam?

Hi all,

Hope that question isn't in conflict with general exam rules:

I'm actually in the half of course and since I'm more "terminal based" always turnarounding using VSCode.

Is the using of VSCode mandatory in the exam please? Or could be sufficient to use only vim/git from CLI?
