Dears,
do you have an estimated date when the course DO480 and the related exam EX480 will be update?
The 2.4 version of RHACM used in the course is already deprecated.
Thanks
@PrasanthBharath Thanks for reaching out!
This course is based on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP ) 4.10 and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) 2.4.
So, you are all set with the course and exam.
Thanks for the clarification @Chetan_Tiwary_
I need one more clarification/assistance from you. Hope you can clarifiy.
I started my practise in lab, However, Right now I got stuck in one of the step and I try to delete one of the resource CRD Klusterlet but I am not able to, so I wasnt able to move forward in my practise.
Can I delete the lab and recreate again ?, since it is a first excersise, I dont have any saved work to lost.
Thanks,
Prasanth
It has been about a year. Any updates regarding those 2 courses? Also, what will they be called instead of DO480?
No updates yet. The course will be divided into two courses ACS and ACM most likely and will have two different course codes. Please stay tuned for further updates. As soon as I have one, I will let you all know here.
Thank you. Would you advise to go for the DO480 or wait for those courses?
@samatar_farah as far as I think - DO480 is a good course which teaches the skills to manage and maintain a complex application landscape across multiple OpenShift clusters. This includes deploying, scaling, and optimizing applications based on factors like capacity and criticality, while ensuring compliance with organizational governance and security policies. The course emphasizes automation and DevOps principles to streamline operations and minimize human error.
I am not sure what will be included and not in the future split courses - but as of now it covers the important ACM topics and is highly useful course for the EX480 certification.
It depends upon your plan and suitability - if you want you can wait but I dont think the new courses and corresponding exams will be available before the next year.
Anything to start a career in OpenShift honestly. I'm testing for the preliminary EX180 this weekend and then going on the 280/380/480 path. I'll take the available OpenShift courses for now, by the time I'm done, the new courses should be available by then!
@samatar_farah wonderful skill path for the Openshift admin. All the very best!
