Is it possible to refresh an exam before it expires?

Jump to solution

Hi all,

I have some certifications from my RHCA that will expire next year. Would it be possible to retake one exam, such as ex183, that I already have in order to refresh the expiration?

Thanks

Francesco

Interesting question. To my understanding, yes, because RHCA requires you to have five active certifications above RHCE.

I could be wrong. But this is how I've understood it.

EDIT:

Yes, it seems I'm right.

To retain RHCA you must have a minimum of five active certifications above RHCE. You can keep renewing the same five, or you can opt for a new different one.

Hi @fmarchioni !

Yes,  as @Tess mentioned any 5 active certs ( specialist ) would do the renewal.
