Am signing up for EX200K in self paced mode. I understand the course fee includes exam fee too. For in-class or virtual class, the exam needs to be taken on 5th day of classes but how does that work for Self-paced? Do i take the exam on the day I finish my course?

For In-class,virtual class and self paced you don't need to take the exam on the 5th day you can schedule it whenever you want given the slot is available but no compulsion on when to take it.
