Hi Team, I have 3 questions for Red Hat Bookshelf.
All of them are related Bookshelf download count. (All user can download 1
1. If a Bookshelf user download a course EPUB multiple times, is it counted as multiple download?
For example, an user download DO280 epub twice, is it consume 2 of 10 book shelf download count?
2. If a course is updated to new version and a user who has old version e-book and download new version too, is it also new 1 count? Or, is the case not consume the bookshelf download count?
3. If a RHLS active user extend his/her RHLS account, is the downloadable Bookshelf count re-charge from 0 to 10 again?
1. Downloading single course multiple times does not consume the ebook download count.
2. AFAIK, downloading same course with different versions also does not consume your ebook download count.
3. Extending your RHLS will not refresh your ebook download count but re purchasing a fresh RHLS subscription will reset it to 10.
10 ebook download count means 10 different courses download during the subscription period.
You can raise this query with the backend support using the support button in your ROL portal and get confirmation on the same.
