Hi all,
I currently have the following certifications:
When I passed the "Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration". My RHCSA got automatically extended. Due to work priorities, I'm planning to take EX188 first instead of RHCE.
My question is, will passing EX188 extend the expiration date for both my RHCSA and Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration?
@adilan Thanks for reaching out!
Passing any specialist examination will extend yourRHCE and RHCSA certification validity. It will not extend any other specialist certification validity.
So, if you pass EX188 - it will extend your RHCSA and RHCE ( if you have ) and not any other certs.

Thanks! Appreciate the clear explanation.
Where do you see the Extended date Information? It does not show on either the original cert or the new one as including the updated dates ?
Thanks
@SVaughn check here : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/verify/
That does not show the updated dates for the CE or the CSA. I have checked both the original cert number and the new cert number and neither shows the updated dates specifically for the 2 extended certs.

@SVaughn You should have a single cert ID and it seems you have different cert IDs which is causing the problem. Log a case here to integrate the new cert ID to the original ID : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments
