Hello everyone,
I’m currently facing a challenge with purchasing the EX188K exam. My Red Hat account is registered with my home country, but I’m currently located in the USA for a short period. I need to take the exam before my certifications become non-current. Unfortunately, it seems I’m unable to change my account’s country of registration, which is preventing me from buying the exam while I’m in the USA.
I’ve noticed that if I create a new account with a USA address, I can proceed with purchasing the exam, but I’m concerned about how this might affect my existing certifications and whether they’ll be updated if I pass the exam under a different account.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation or know how to handle this? Specifically, is there a way to change the country on my current account so I can purchase the exam? Or if I must purchase the exam on a new account, how do I ensure that my existing certifications are updated or merged?
Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
