Install Red Hat learning environment on Instructor Station

Good Morning.

The college I support has recently updated the classroom to Dell PCs which have a UEFI Bios installed. When I download the Red Hat image (usb-9.2-50G-rhcsa9.0-mbr-r2023060818.img), use DD to push the image into a USB stick and then try to boot the new Dell PC, it doesn't even see the USB stick.

Has anyone seen this issue and how did you resolve it.

@Jonathan - I’ve moved the thread to this space, where more Red Hat Academy instructors are likely to see it and contribute. I also noticed that you’re working with an older file version—I'd suggest to usethe latest RHEL 9.3 release.

Are you able to change your boot order or manually select the boot disk from BIOS?

Meanwhile, also try to use Rufus to write the image to the disk and don't select DD mode. Please give feedback.
