I cant get this working on a 16" MacBook Pro with a T2 chip even with secure boot turned off. Any suggestions?
Hello @seandrethegiant,
2018/9 series Macs seem to have compatibility issues with several Linux distributions and is impacting our remote exam image too. Keyboard, Touchpad, Mic and Webcam are seen to work erratically or not work at all. Do you have another laptop that you can try with?

Hi! I'm trying to schedule my remote RHCSA v8 exam for next week but there are no dates on the calendar before Oct. 1, any ideas what's going on? thank you.
Hello @limaunion,
I asked around internally and it seems like the demand for testing center and remote exams have been quite high lately, nearing the maximum exams that can be monitored on a given day. Nevertheless, there may be time slots that are outside of your business hours if there are other timezones where bookings are lesser. I do not have visibility to global schedules, however, the understanding is that the demands are high due to which slots may be booked out during certain times.
PS: Slot availability is dependent on the maximum number of exams that can be monitored by Red Hat's remote exam proctors each day.
Best Regards,
Shefeeq
I am trying to pay for the exam, but after I add the RHCSA 8 exam to the cart and click checkout, it redirects me to a page where it is suggested to click Login or register( Even though I am already logged in ), I click login and I am redirected to the site https://training-lms.redhat.com/
Where do I get a notification saying "There are no items in your cart."
So how can i pay for it?
Hello @Michael1,
I think I know what the issue could be, but the best people to help you process a purchase via our learning management system would be your regional operations support team. The solution for this might be to select a different EX200V8K offering that is created in our LMS for your country, or to approach the authorized training partner in your area to buy the exam voucher. This depends on the country selected in your rh.com profile.
Please raise a ticket by sending an email with the above details, screenshot as well as your redhat.com login id to training-emea-kiosk@redhat.com

Hi Team, I have my RedHat remote exam scheduled. I'm going to use a desktop with one External Web Cam. Hope one external web cam is enough. Do we need a speaker by any chance .Anytime during the exam does the proctor speaks to the candidate for any reason. If Yes, Is headset allowed ?.
Looking forward for your reply.

Sakthi
Hi @Sakthiraam
In your interest, please read the FAQ and Getting Ready document:
https://www.redhat.com/en/resources/certification-remote-exams-FAQ
1 External webcam with at least 1m cable is required, no speaker required.
For the audio, there is a visual flash + chat to communicate with proctor.
Also candidate usually leave a phone number in case of outage or something and for the proctor to communicate with the candidate.
@JS_Learning , Thank You for the reply. That clears my doubt.
