Are there any special requirements for screen resolution for Preliminary exams?

I have tried using different screen resolutions but still I get below error while doing 'compatibility check' each and every time:
"The exam cannot be launched in a normal-size window. Please switch to full screen and re-run the tests.
Screen height is not valid"

@Sarang ,

Hi there,

I am not familiar with PE exams and contacting the support team would be your best option, but let me add my thoughts:
- 1920*1080 is the preferred resolution for the remote exams, I presume it's the same for PEs.
- If you running the PE tests on chrome, please try running it on Chromium and if you still have problems, try installing a lower version of the browser. (I tried and experienced the same problem on Chrome 87, but the PE tests on Chrome/Chromium 85 and lower worked as expected.)

Regards,

Hi,

You may have sent your response to the wrong person.  I was not asking about screen resolution.

Thanks

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a suitable study guide for the EX200 RHCSA exam?  I have taken both courses but would like to practice executing commands based on content that might be similar to the exam requirements, or at least get an idea of which tasks the exam will cover.  TIA

My exam starts at 7:30.  How do I get hold of somebody to start the test and who do I communicate with?

Hi,
I tested my environnement for my exam scheduled the 6th January. The test is successful with my laptop camera without using an external one. Have I to use a external camera despite of that ?
Thanks

Hi @Abennani82 ,

An external camera is a mandatory requirement for the remote exam.

Regarding USB ports, on my laptop I do not have enough. Normally I use a docking station. Is the docking permited ? I intend to use one monitor which is connected to the docking and the laptop lid is closed.

Thank you
