to be clear, these questions are in regards to taking the exam remotely (from home) with my Red Hat issued Mac laptop...

Hi there!

1) You are allowed a break. Depending on the length of the exam, you may have a break after an hour or two.

2) Having stickers on the laptop is generally not an issue with any exam. The bigger issue is whether you can use the corporate laptop, which in my experience tends to be locked down to the point where you can't boot from CD or USB.

1) What if I have to go to the bathroom? Is this allowed?

There is a break for every completed hour and each cannot exceed 10
minutes. Timer does not stop and a room scan should be performed after each
break.

2) I have Red Hat and other vendor stickers on my laptop. Is that allowed?

I have one sticker and did not cause an issue in all of my 10+ remote exams.

- break is allowed with the approval of exam proctor. But the timer will
not stop. Read the exam guide -
https://www.redhat.com/en/resources/remote-exams-preparation-ebook

- stickers and all doesn’t matter if they are on the backside of screen. If
those are on the main area (near keyboards) then not sure they will ask to
remove. Better check with the support team

Hi,

I have a Mac M1 and I can see that the ISO only supports MAC Intel based laptops.

I have a scheduled exam for this week and looking for confirmation if I can use the ISO for MAC M1 based laptops.

Please confirm else I will have to cancel it

Hi there!

You need an Intel-based PC or MAC to use the ISO.

Hi, tomorrow I have scheduled an exam and now I am trying to test my environment, the laptop booted successfully from my USB drive and the redhat environment stuck to 100%. Do you have other links to download other version of redhat's OS?

It takes time after 100% boot up. After this you will be asked to login into your RH account and test the system
