I'd also suggest logging in beforehand because in my case I experienced an issue while testing my mic. Believe me, you don't want to encounter any serious hardware issues just before the exam starts...

Really wish I could get an answer to my issue before my test in the morning. When I boot to the live USB, all i get is an option to 'Try Fedora' and an option to 'Install to Hard Drive' neither one gets me to any live environment. Please help.

Which Fedora ISO are you referring to?

The Exam Fedora ISO will not ask you to choose like that.

Hi Rashid,

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you are hoping to run the text image in a VM. If so this will probably not be useful to you. Getting it to boot successfully in a VM will only show that it boots there, not that it will boot on your hardware. You cannot take the exam using the test image in a VM, only on bare metal.

Doe this help?

I think its safe to ask this question. On the test main page, is there a requirement to check the boxes for 'Done', 'Revisit', or even boxes inside the question prompts? It seems to me this is just for our own benefit. I left quite a few checked to revisit and now I'm thinking they weren't graded?

I'm positive that those progress markers are for your information only. Grading will be done solely based on what you've created on your test systems.

The e-mail with your test results contains a link to contact Red Hat to query them about your results. I've found this very helpful, even though you won't get all the details because of the certification NDA.

What type of info can I get from the query? Also, I feel as though I did not receive partial scoring for some partially answered questions. Any truth to this being the case?

Impossible.
This checkbox as you thought for only ease of use to review uncompleted
tasks and does not affect grading at all.
This is mentioned as a note in exam introductory information.

Got a new question. This was not on my test, but rather in practice labs. Set account expiry date for 90 days from now. Seems to me you can use 'usermod -e date', but Red Hat labs indicate the use of 'chage -E date' instead. Both methods set the 'account expires' in chage -l to the requested date. My question: If I use usermod, but Red Hat wants chage, do I get the question wrong?
