Hi, you may try this guide: https://www.redhat.com/rhdc/managed-files/tr-remote-exams-preparation-ebook-f27382-202103-en_2.pdf They mention MacOS on page 18. Here is what they say: "2018 and later series of Mac systems have been found to have compatibility issues with several Linux® distributions. These issues impact the remote exam LiveUSB as well".

Not sure what are those "compatibility issues". I'd try downloading exam boot iso and creating a USB stick then test if everything is OK. I already run 3 or 4 tests of my PC that I'm going to use for the remote exam. In my case it's a regular PC with Win 10 and Intel CPU.

Once my flash drive boots, which option do I choose? Once I'm in Fedora, how do I ccess the live exam environment? Is it just going to my red hat learning subscription and logging in?

The boot will guide you into a couple of configuration prompts, then log in to the Red Hat site. Once that is done, you will be in a start screen where you first verify your equipment is ready to go. Once that is then, you will be ready to access the exam environment once link to use it is active.

I'd also suggest logging in beforehand because in my case I experienced an issue while testing my mic. Believe me, you don't want to encounter any serious hardware issues just before the exam starts...

Really wish I could get an answer to my issue before my test in the morning. When I boot to the live USB, all i get is an option to 'Try Fedora' and an option to 'Install to Hard Drive' neither one gets me to any live environment. Please help.

Which Fedora ISO are you referring to?

The Exam Fedora ISO will not ask you to choose like that.

Hi Rashid,

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you are hoping to run the text image in a VM. If so this will probably not be useful to you. Getting it to boot successfully in a VM will only show that it boots there, not that it will boot on your hardware. You cannot take the exam using the test image in a VM, only on bare metal.

Doe this help?
