Kindly try to login using Redhat ID and not your email id. Boot from the latest iso (2023-06) version and you can perform the compatibility test. You can reach out to support for quick assistance.

From the user interface on the image you sent, it is very clear that you're using older version of ISO. Please note that all the older versions of ISO has been archieved and we currently have only 202306 version available in use.

So, please download the current version of ISO from the below link, create the live USB using the same and boot from it.

Hi all,

I will sit my RHCSA exam in 2 weeks time. I decided to start getting my remote exam environment ready now and I tested the compatibility, unfortuantely, the microphone is being detected as "Adequate" and it fails the test (yes, the volume is all the way up). When I replay the test I can clearly hear myself and the background noise.

Will that stop me from sitting the exam since it doesn't pass the test?

Do never set the mic volume (sensitivity) fully up. It overamplifies the mic input and gives the noise. See the red indicators. There must be none present in silence but maximum present when you make some noise. The solution is easy. Find a proper position of your mic volume slider in the settings. In case it does not help, use a different mic

Hi @deadin , that's quite wierd 

If you're using a laptop with external webcam, just check which mic was selected in the settings. You should be getting options for both the built in mic and mic on external webcam under sounds > input devices
Run the test with each microphones separately (reboot required to switch the mic on settings) and see if the test passes

If you're using desktop with external webcam and there is no built in mic on the PC, try connecting headphones/earphones with mic and see if the test pass. Please be informed that you cannot wear the headset/earphones during the exam and must be kept on the desk in view of the proctor

You can also test the headphone/earphoe as 3rd input device while using laptop as well and test 

Since Microphone is mandatory for the exam, you need to have it working without any issues to take the exam

Hey Team,

I have configure the remote setup by using bootable USB pendrive and did compatibility check before 2 days of my exam, just in case it failed so that I would have time to reschedule but luckily it ran smoothly.

But here I powered off my system and again tried to power it on but I didn't get remote redhat exam system automatically 

Do I need to plug in USB bootable pendrive again and again, and run and configure the system again?

Hi,

Yes, the USB needs to be plugged in on every boot. The reason for that is, the system is configured on your RAM, and during the reboot the RAM is cleared.

Yes ! You've to boot from the live USB everytime to get into the exam environment on each restart. You can use the same live USB which you've used it last time. No need to rebuild the live USB again.

In case, if you've to restart your system in between the exam for any reasons, you still have to do the same. Boot from live USB from the beginning. But once you log back in, you can start from the point where you've left during the exam.

After clicking on the compatibility check option, it keeps loading and doesn’t proceed to the compatibility check.
