Hi all,
My exam is tommorow and I am getting the handle is invalid when trying tp start the LiveUSB.
Who should talk to in this case?
Hi @Noufalsubaie ,
You can reach out to Remote Exam support at https://red.ht/remote-exam-chat . Also Make sure you are using the latest ISO and is burnt correctly to the USB . Boot mode must be UEFI not Legacy.
i tried running the exam ISO check. and after it loads into memory,
it just goes to a blinking cursor
@mcalautt It could be more likely something to do with the compatibility of the computer with exam ISO.
Few devices (NOT ALL) with AMD processor, Nvidia graphics, RTX graphic cards, gaming devices experiences boot issues where it will either get stuck at 100% loading screen or goes blank with a blinking cursor
ok. can i ignore it?
its the only laptop i have to use.
unfortunately i cant use my work laptop, usb/bios is locked.
Hello, I want to take the redhat exam but my room is all glass, is that okay?
Not allowed. As specified in the policies, the location must be "private and quiet". Transparent glass walls do not assure privacy. Questionable cases will be decided by the proctors individually.
Hi @bayhaqqy1 ,
Completely transparent glass walls are not acceptable to take up the exam.
If it has a glass door, then it would depend on the seating position for the exam. The proctor will check during the room scan and decide on the same
When I ran the latest version of the Live ISO environment, it showed that the browser was incompatible. Seems odd since it is checking its own software. Is this going to be a problem for the exam?
Also, did the chat widget for exam support disappear from the site because I don't see it when I follow the previous links in this thread.
You are right, RH is testing its browser here, so the error should not be expected.
My unconfirmed theory is the issue is related to the WebRTC feature not working. Since WebRTC was implemented in Google Chrome in version 23, errors related to WebRTC functionality may be interpreted as "incompatible browser." But in fact, it may be network restriction or hardware compatibility (Firefox using HW acceleration in graphic card).
