Red Hat said they would provide a temporary laptop for taking the exam so that I would not have to buy my own personal laptop. There does appear to be some sort of Secure Boot option turned on that I cannot change

In that case, you have to reach out to Red Hat's IT to get you to boot from USB, if they allow it. That is all you can do at this point.

I was able to resolve the issue by disabling the Secure Boot option.

Hello.

I think you are replying to my post rather than making a new post in the
forum.

Have you found the boot menu for your laptop?

You will need to enter the bios or UEFI setup utility or the boot menu and
choose to boot from your usb drive.

This is normally by pressing f11, del escape or otherwise depending on the
laptop vendor.

Hello,

I am looking to receive confirmation that glasses are allowed, and are not part of the special accommodations request?  I didn't see them on the form, but also didn't see glasses specifically called out anywhere so before I assume they are allowed, I was hoping someone could confirm that?

Additionally, I would like to have a back up pair available. I assume as long as the proctor scans the second set of glasses and approves, I can have a second pair available near my workspace?

Thank you for clarity,

Tina

Tina,

Glasses are allowed. I should know - I wear them during the exam.

Not sure about switching out glasses during the exam. I would suggest checking with the proctor or better yet, training before the exam.

Rilindo,

I appreciate the quick reply and confirmation!  Great advice to have me check with training beforehand on the extra set too.

RHCSA exam -  system surviving a reboot? What can I do to ensure that the terminals survive a reboot? This is the result of the exam.

At the end of the exam, before being graded, all candidate systems are rebooted.
Unfortunately, your's one of the systems did not reboot to a usable state and could not be graded.

@Marcus26

You need to make sure all your configurations are correct. Once you are done with the exam you can reboot the exam vms and verify its status.
