On monday, 19 May, I could't take the ex294 scheduled exam because the rhrexboot-2023-06.iso provided by RedHat doesn't boot on my business PC. I lost the possibility to renew my RHCSA certification because will expire on Thursday 22. How could such things happen? I wrote an email to certification-team and I still not received an answer...It was really frustrating for me, i studied a lot to prepare myself and i couldn't demostrate my preparation.
Hi Moschito,
All candidates are asked to test their computer setup for compatibility well in advance, preferably several days before scheduling their exam. Red Hat also emphasizes the importance of this step, as exams can only be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours or more beforehand. Additionally, there is a link to the Support chat mentioned in the Confirmation Email for emergency situations like yours. Those, who are unable to meet these technical requirements always have the option to take their exam at an exam center.
You also didn't mention whether you contacted the support chat to report the issue before your exam.
I'm confident the Red Hat team will respond to your ticket soon.
You can also reach out to the RH Remote Exam Support chat at
