Hello All!
I wish to go for the RHCE 8 exam.
I previously cleared both the RHCSA 7 (expired Oct 21) and RHCE 7 exam (Expired in November of 21).
Do I need to retake or take the RHCSA 8 as it is a different version or can I directly go for the RHCE 8 exam?
Thank you!

Your question is a great one! Here's the answer:
Certification Renewal Information
In short, every candidate must have a valid (non-expired) RHCSA to earn the RHCE certification. If you currently hold a valid/active RHCSA, passing the EX294 exam will certify you as an RHCE. (Note: The version of the exam does not affect this requirement.)

That clear things up, thank you!
@Yama You can directly take RHCE exam but you wont be able to download the certificate unless you have valid RHCSA.
I strongly recommend you to go for RHEL 9 for both RHCSA ( EX200 ) & RHCE ( EX294 ).
Thank you for your response!
That makes sense, going for the latest version - RHCE 9
