RHEL upgrade

Hi There,
Can someone please clear this we are a organization using RHEL 6 servers, we just launched RHEL 8 servers in to our productions and we skipped RHEL 7 is the 2 stage upgrade process important RHEL 6 TO RHEL 7 TO RHEL 8 or can we directly upgrade from RHEL 6 to RHEL 8?
