Remote exam connection issue in UAE

We know about the great China fireWall. Is anybody also experiencing issues attempting to run Remote exam in the Emirates (UAE)? Cannot boot because of "Network not configured" or cannot pass the compatibility test with the "Media server error"? I guess it is because some content filter proxy due to the censhorship. I guess It may be seen in other countries as well, perhaps in African countries.
What is your experience and is there a workaround?

Yes, I am experiencing the issue in UAE. My exam expiring in 10 days of time and there is no option to appear for the exam in Direct center as well. I had an another exam two months and I was able to take it up remote at my home in UAE. What needs to be done? Please help
