Several problems during exam with Lenovo P1/Gen4

This night, during my EX480, I have several problems with my Lenovo P1/Gen4 machine, just crashed 6 times during the exam. All times the machine stop to responding, mouse and keyboard didn't work and I forced to restart. Two times the screen also have a problem like this picture, I informed the proctor after the reboot that I taked a picture to get better support from the exam team.

This is the company machine that I use to work and I'm running now Fedora 37, also used Fedora 36,  and I don't have any problem, the problem only happens with the Exam ISO, I checked and I'm using the last one available.

Someone have any issue or a problem wit this machine?

Such issues also used to happen with me - [ in my personal system ] . But haven't faced the same issue on Org. System and some of the particular reasons I discovered from my friends & personal experiences.

1. rhexboot.iso is either corrupted or old.
2. system is not compatible - [ had to change to different system ].
3. system not meeting the requirements.
4. Security settings in BIOS creating problems - [ secured boot, TPM 2.0 etc ]

Hi, I understand that the system are not full compatible yet. I'll use another system next time. The idea is to see if someone have also a problem with a highend computer from the company.

Thank you !!!

Issues on Lenovo P1 gen 4 with exam ISO? Use common sense and Google:
Lenovo P1 gen. 4 has a chipset i7-11800H. This was launched in q2 2021.
Exam ISO is Fedora 33. It has been released on October 27, 2020
Now, how can the Computer from 2021 be supported by an OS from 2020, if making drivers for it may take 1-3 years?
This is the answer to your problem. Please use an older computer or wait for the new release of exam ISO which will be based on the newer Fedora.

I tried to search on google and in the forum if there was any report of someone with a problem with this equipment, as I didn't find it, I posted it here in the forum, I believe that this is the correct way.

Unfortunately I don't know the development process of this ISO and I haven't identified a place to validate if my hardware is compatible.

I didn't know that it is assembled based on Fedora 33, as during the boot the version 20220719.F.46ea0c7 appears, I had in mind that I was using a more recent version of Fedora and that it would work since it was possible to access and do the validation test, the problem only occurs during a certain time of use.

Thank you for your support and cordiality.

yes, you did all right. Just explaining. I also wish the adoption of the newer Fedora for the Exam purpose was faster. Let's hope it is released soon. Good luck with the exam!

@chandrasred I am exactly in the same situation than you, I think the exam env crashes on average once per exam, with loss of usb (mouse / keyboard). Finger cross it all works fine in the next version, and until then, will need to use an old laptop.
