Upgrade Path from RHEL 8.8 to 9.2

Hi All,

We need to upgrade our current RHEL 8.8 to 9.2 and we've done the following:

1) Installed the packages leapp-0.17.0-1.el8.noarch.rpm, leapp-upgrade-el8toel9-0.17.0-1.el8_6.2.noarch.rpm, leapp-upgrade-el8toel9-deps-0.17.0-1.el8_6.2.noarch.rpm, python3-leapp-0.17.0-1.el8.noarch.rpm after downloading them from RedHat packages portal

2) Tried to run preupgrade command 'leapp preupgrade --target 9.2'

When running preupgrade command, its returning the error 'cannot import name 'report_inhibitors'', it will be great if i can get an insight on what could be the fix for this?

Thank you

It looks to me like you might be using Leapp packages made for RHEL 8.6, which are probably not ompatible with 8.8—I’d suggest to take a look at Red Hat’s official upgrade guide to identify the correct versions: https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_enterprise_linux/9/html-single/upgrading_from_rhel_...
