The open source world has opened up my eyes to the fact that as humans, we can do a lot more good when we collaborate freely. So much can be said from how open source enables people to do more without "restrictions".

In 2006, a bar buddy of mine told me "Hey Pat, this Linux thing is going to take off. Learn Linux as it's everywhere. Simply take your desktop, and play around with Linux. Tear it down, put it in, and just use it."

Granted its 2020, and I have "dabbled" in Linux over the years with various distros, but until about 3 years ago when I went into the Cloud team, I have been drinking the Microsoft Kool-aid. Since 2017, I have transformed into Cloud and Linux and can say I could not be happier in my career. Having said that, I look forward to my goals in getting Red Hat certified.

I really wish I had doubled-down on Linux earlier in my life. Granted I am 37 now, and am fortunate to keep learning Red Hat and working with Linux at my job, but I am happy that "now" its being good.

The good news is that you're only 37, and that you put down that Microsoft drink.  You've got a lot of time to take advantage of the opportunities that exist in this Linux space - more specifically, this Red Hat Linux train.  Welcome aboard!

The concept of Opensource is a valuable tool for those who can't get access to the technology they need to succeed. Opensource is able to break down the barriers for you in order to access the technology you need. I find it a great asset because you will be able to communicate with people who are willing to share their knowledge with you.

Hello DeSean.  There aren't many ways that are better to spend your time than furthering your education.  With your posting of this message in the Red Hat Learning Community, I'm going to assume that part of the extension to your education involves Red Hat Linux.  Very, very, very wise choice!  If you learn this operating system well, you'll put yourself in a position to be afforded plenty of opportunities.

HI, I am going to take remote exam EX280 in coming week.

I have wireless keyboad and wireless mouse which receive connectivity through bluetooth dongle. I will keep my laptop screen down during the exam.

My question is whether these wireless keyboard and wireless mouse are allowed in the exam, along with bluetooth connector which is plugged into laptop's USB port, if these two pass the compatibility test ?

Thanks in advance.
