To me it is publicly available software,platform which is free available and distributed
Anyone can use, modify, see and distribute the code.
Open Source is natural taking ques from the nature. It is there for you to use, build on, nurture & nourish!
Open Source is for me a "way of life". It is not about "getting software for free", it is about freedom - freedom to share, freedom to use, freedom to contribute... Open means "open for everyone" - you can contribute, share ideas and no one cares who are you or where you are from.
Open Source is the freedom of been discover the capacity of we can reach through a software.

Open Sources is a philosophy that grants knowledge could be shared with everybody and grants innovations and modifications should be share with everybody so keeping knowledge among everybody
