is keyboard shortcut key ALT + TAB available to switch between CLI and Q during EX200 exam

Jump to solution

HI,

is keyboard shortcut key ALT+TAB available for switching between CLI Terminal and browser that contain the exam questions ?
As The lack of keyboard shortcut is rather inconvenient and time consuming for going back and forth between exam questions and CLI terminals.

I raised this to customer service but I got the following :

Unfortunately, we cannot provide any details surrounding your exam environment. The most essential documentation for examinees to get a quick reference is provided in each exam build.
However, we are bound by our non-disclosure agreement to avoid getting into specific details.
Thanks for your understanding.

@shtan394

Don't expect anybody to break the NDA.
The response you received from customer service is all you can, and will really, get.

Focus on the objectives and make sure you master them enough without reference.

With that, you should not worry about "time consuming for going back and forth...".

Best regards,

Tshimanga

no, I am not trying to break NDA or anything, just a question for past candidate,  did you split your screen into two side by side? one terminal and another the question.

Or does the exam environment allow ALT+TAB to switch between one full screen to another like we could do with Genome ?

@shtan394 As @TM mentioned - nothing specific about exam env can be divulged due to the NDA restrictions.

Exam environment is restricted minimum/limited environment and you will be provided with important instructions during the exam - please read those carefully.

If I was at your place - I would not worry about the  "time consuming for going back and forth between exam questions and CLI terminals."

The answer makes a lot of difference to practising at home, if the ALT+TAB NOT allow, then I have to practise with using HALF screen using the cmd line terminal while keeping the other half for the exam questions

@shtan394 that is also protected under NDA. Also, given the regular updates to exam ISO release - you cannot be certain what aspects are there and will be there in future.
