We are trying to adjust the backlight in RHEL 8.4,
but we do not see any changes on the screen.
While debugging, we noticed that the asus-nb-wmi module is used by default.
When we blacklist the asus-nb-wmi module, the backlight adjustment switches to using Intel drivers.
To address this, we tried adding the option "acpi_backlight=vendor" and ran "grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg" to update the configuration, but it did not work.
Could someone assist with this issue?
