Not sure if I can address this here but I am taking the Red Hat System Administration I (RH124) course and run into an problem in the lab of chapter 5.7 Lab: Create, View, and Edit Text Files.
In the lab you have to work with Visual Block which caused me some problems.
The problem was due to stuff on my clipboard which was pasted to the remote terminal. Issue is solved, all works fine now.
