Hello,
The latest version of RHEL OS is 10. The RHCE EX294 exam registration, booking or scheduling is only available for RHEL versions 8.4 and 9.0. The real exam will be based on what version of RHEL?
Thanks for feedback.
Thank you for your question!
Currently, the RHCE EX294 (Ansible Automation) exam is officially offered and scheduled only for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 8.4 and 9.0. While RHEL 10 has been released, the EX294 exam based on RHEL 10 has not been announced or made available yet.
If you are preparing for the real exam, you should continue practicing with either RHEL 8.4 or 9.0, as these are the versions covered in the current exam objectives. When (and if) a version based on RHEL 10 launches, Red Hat will update their official pages and exam objectives accordingly.
Stay tuned for updates from Red Hat, and feel free to check their certification site regularly for the most recent changes. Good luck with your preparation!
Thank you very much.
@Mawuena While scheduling the EX294, you can select the version from the available choice based on your liking/plan which is v8.4 & 9.0.
EX294 on v10 has not been released yet.

Hello,
Sorry if I hijack this thread.
One problem I faced in the past that I know is not yet resolved by Red Hat is a way to refer to "old" objectives when new ones are availed.
This will help to get the official objectives when scheduled an exam that is not on the latest version.
Take this case as an example. Actually EX200 objectives are based on version 9.0. And that can be seen on this officlal link https://www.redhat.com/en/services/training/ex200-red-hat-certified-system-administrator-rhcsa-exam?...
So you start studying towards version 9.0 and its objectives. Let's suppose that when you are ready to schedule writing the exam version 10 is out and the objectives link updated, you are then left with no official reference of the objectives towards which your 9 EX200 exam will be on.
Red Hat should keep official links for objectives of exams that are selectable to be written.

@TM totally get your point and I am with you on this.
The exam team does maintain old objectives in a master document and it can be shared by them. For that one need to raise a support case here : https://rhtapps.redhat.com/comments
Thank you @Chetan_Tiwary_,
I got you.
But, I will not open a ticket right now as I am not in need.
Unless someone else opens the ticket, I might do so when I will be ready to write EX316 on version 4.14, as I know version 4.16 is already out.

Tshimanga
@TM sure please let me know by then, I will help you.
